kayyyy two posts in a day, yes, i know, awful.

but anyways.

i've had a great year so far,

but i'm sad that i only have 108 school days left...

ANYWAYS, i feel like this has gone by so fast.

i'm sick of schoolwork and such, already. Senioritis has definitely hit hard on me and my friends.

I've gotten close to so many people this year, though, which is strange, because seeing as I moved a lot when i was younger, i never really made "close" friends with anyone out of fear of moving, and this has followed me...but that changed. E explained that that may be the reason for why i don't have a single -best- friend...but i have many who are my -best- friends. which makes me happy.

i've enjoyed pbs with z, f, e, h, j, d, and r...(i've decided to conceal people by using their first names......like lemony snicket)

this will make sense to no one but me or them ..but i feel like saying it because h ardly anyone reads this anyways.

i find out about unc-ch on january 31, and i find out about brown in april, and kenyon, but it seems like if i get into UNC, im going there, seeing as its so cheap. and wh atnot. which makes me a bit sad, but not so much...........

lets hope for the best, eh? scholarship, anyone?

speaking of scholarships, im a semifinalist for the national achievement one, which is not the saem as the national merit scholarship, but everyone seems to think it is. it's not based on the psat score as much as it's based on picking random people...but i'm still kinda glad a bout that because it may help me get into brown..maybe..

I read My Sister's Keeper because I kept seeing it everywhere and saw that a movie was coming out. The book was incredibly sad.. if you ever read that book prepare to be really depressed. it's good though.

Fly on the Wall...that was interesting.

OH! I read a great vampire book called Evernight. IT was weird at first, but it got much better. Great alternative to twilight..

I've also watched great movies..

Paris J'etaime is AMAZING. GO WATCH IT, NOW.

Jeux D'enfants, or Love Me if you Dare was weird, but really good.

Before cross country, my summers consisted of reading and television.

Then I started xc last year, and then my summers consisted of running, reading, and internet.

(No friend-activities because I'm almost always out of town.)

Now this year has been pretty awesome so far. My summer has consisted of running, traveling, reading, and internet. Lots of each, too.

I haven't done as much running as I want because 1. it's ridiculously hot here in Georgia, so to get any good running in it has to be before 8, and I sleep in. Thus, I use the treadmill. And I hatehatehate treadmills.

And I had Americone Dream on the 4th, and saw awesome fireworks.

And I enjoyed random neighborhood escapades.

And practice the first two weeks when I was in town was pretty awesome.

And I got a car so I won't havta bum people for rides to the CC at 6am next year. :D

So yeah. And then I'll be back in town next week...so I can hang out with folks. Woo.

It's kinda insane to choose where you want to spend four years of your life. And sucky

There's oberlin in ohio, which is supposed to be uber-liberal-artsy-hipster-academia-ness.

Sounds good. And they have womb chairs.

There's also kenyon in ohio, which is the middle-of-nowhere-awesome-professors-beautiful-campus one.

And then there's amherst, the one in massachussets which i really know nothing about except it's a liberal arts place and I may be able to visit for free..so it'snot getting kicked off my list yet.

Of course I have to apply to the token public school here..UNC. I just don't think such a big school is for me. I wouldn't die if I had to go there, but it's def. not my top choice.

My safety is UNC-A. It's a public liberal arts...perfect! And it's cheap, and my parents used to teach there, and Asheville is amazing.

There's just something attractive about going to school out of state. It's certainly not the $40,000+ tuition...

I've read 4 books in five days X] all the awesome books I talked about in my last post. They were all awesome! I especially loved Elsewhere and Devilish. And Devilish was set in Providence, RI (where Brown is) :o

Now, I have to concentrate on Frankenstein till i finish that and the thematic timeline. (FML.) I'm also looking up scholarships and doing other college-y things. Senior-dom stinks as far as that's concerned -_-;
